A "Classy" Dauntless 160

Check out our latest completed project: Modified Center Console on a 2002 Dauntless 160.  Maybe it will give you some ideas for your Boston Whaler.

I own the '02 Dauntless 160 that Mike has modified so beautifully. This all started when I removed the radio in my center console because I never used it. That left me with just the plastic radio cover in that space. I didn't think it looked very good. I got to thinking it would be nice to have a shelf or something there to store sunglasses, keys, cell phones, etc.

Mike had done some great work for my brother in rebuilding 3 classic whaler consoles and seats so I knew how good he was. I contacted Mike and he said he could make the shelf. However, when I dropped off the boat we discussed what else could be done and he had some great additional suggestions. As a result, we expanded the project to include the locking storage cabinet beneath the shelf, the locking louvered console door, and the matching trim around the fire extinguisher box.

I can't describe how great it all looks and what a difference it makes in the appearance of the boat.

Mike is an excellent craftsman, does great work, has reasonable prices, is good to work with, and did everything he said he was going to do on time. I wouldn't hesitate to have him do more work for me, assuming I can think of something else that could be done on my boat! Thanks again, Mike!

Vintage 1970 Nauset

Mike - Thank you for such a nice job on my new console...thought you might enjoy the final results of your work, fully installed and "wet" on my vintage 1970 Nauset. Starting to get the compliments from those in the know....mostly "plastic boat people here, but the occasional salt will recognize "Bristol Fashion".

Much appreciated ... keep up the good work.  Ed Ruckle, Bass River, Cape Cod, MA.

(P.S. My rear bench, purchased on eBay (not your product) finally had to be dipped and stripped and re-varnished 10 times as the original coat and finish was quite inferior.)

Bringing a Whaler Back to Life!

Mike, we gave my son the pictures of the parts ordered from you yesterday for his birthday.  He was very surprised, and he is very happy about the Whaler being restored to "like new"  He had always planned to re-do the console himself, but he is a very hard worker and has no time, so I am so glad we found your company.   I am sure my husband is smiling down from heaven that his precious Whaler is being restored!!  It has been sitting in my driveway for the longest time, and I have had numerous offers to buy it, but we would never part with it.  This boat was my late husband's favorite thing.   Thank you for your help, Sincerely, Ann Libassi
Mike - Thought you would enjoy these pics of before and after this re-do - A lot of sanding went into the hull and prep for refinish - I spent the last 3 months on this project and finally got around to installing console and seat. Thanks again, Paul Libassi
